"Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth." - Marcus Aurelius
Growing up with parents from diverse ethnic backgrounds exposed me to various cultures and languages early on, sparking a deep fascination with human behavior and social dynamics. This curiosity motivated me to pursue a psychology degree at university.
My interest in understanding people naturally extended to education, where I discovered the joy of engaging with young minds as a teacher. I found fulfillment in nurturing their curiosity and fostering a love for learning through innovative and interactive teaching methods.
I am passionate about promoting authentic, student-centered learning experiences and providing differentiated support using technology. My aspirations include earning a doctorate, lecturing, and conducting research at the intersection of psychology, education, and technology.
"Passion, motivation and drive. 3 key values Adam has plenty of and inspires others around him with. Very much a passionate teacher in the classroom, implementing and using new classroom technologies for engagement; motivated personally to continually learn and driven to reach the next step of his career. With the right enviroment and team, Adam will do much to further the technology methodologies and platforms in the Education sector."
"Adam injects confidence not only in his students, but teachers as well. A great listener and sharp observer, he helps teachers to improve our teaching and classroom managements with feasible and interesting approaches and ideas.
His enthusiasm in technology transforms our teaching and learning experience but I believe his personality -- attentive, trustworthy, positive -- encourages everyone to step out of their comfort zone and truly create an educational culture that benefits both students and teachers."
"Adam's passion is clear from the get go. He is an extremely driven individual who sets high standards for his students and himself. Adam has excellent social skills which he uses to his advantage when working in a group setting."
"Mr. Adam Ishak worked freelance for us...I would certainly vouch for Adam’s ability to produce well researched, professional lessons for a similar educational establishment."
"Adam is a team player that supports department and school activities/events such as our school’s green week, charity bazaar, sports day and sports carnival. He provides valuable feedback and constructive ideas and discussion whenever it is needed.
In academics, Adam taught science to Year 8 and 9 during his time at Kingsley. He coordinates the problem based learning projects for his year group as an integrated STEM education."
"Adam is an expert in Educational Technology and he helped incorporate the use of technology in classroom [sic] at Kingsley through a variety of tools. He conducted workshops for the entire school teaching us how to use technological resources in the classroom.
Having interacted with Adam both at work and outside, I have learnt that Adam is an extremely intelligent individual who puts a lot of passion into the things that interest him."
"As an International Educator, Adam possesses the skills, passion, and work ethic needed to be a successful member of a great team. He demonstrated a strong commitment to personal growth both in Educational Technology and growth of the department by sharing his best practices, investigating new technologies and collaborating with other teachers.
In his role as a Science teacher, he has increased teacher capacity by promoting support resources for the department and school. He is hardworking with great career management skills in communication, coordination, and collaboration.
Adam is a great person to work with, a great team player for any company and a very enthusiastic Educational Technologist as well as a great teacher."
